Method 1: Check your JAMB registration slip

If you registered for JAMB at a CBT centre, your email address should be on your JAMB registration slip.

Steps:

1. Find your JAMB registration slip (printed at the CBT centre).
2. Look for your email address on the document.
3. If you find it, try logging into JAMB CAPS with that email.

Method 2: Use the JAMB SMS recovery method

The second method works just fine and you can do it with your phone.

How does it work?

Simple.

You can recover your JAMB email via SMS using the phone number you used during JAMB registration.

Follow these steps:

1. Open your phone’s messaging app.
2. Type “RESEND” in capital letters.
3. Send the message to 55019 or 66019 (JAMB’s official SMS code).
4. JAMB will send you a message with your registered email address.

Note: When doing this, make you use the same phone number you used for JAMB registration.

Method 3: Check your previous emails

If you remember part of your email, try searching your inbox for JAMB-related messages.

Steps to find your JAMB email:

1. Open Gmail, Yahoo Mail, or Outlook (whichever you use).

If you registered at a CBT centre or cyber café, they usually keep a record of people who registered under them.

You can be lucky to find that they still have your information including your email address.

• Ask them if they can check their records for your JAMB email.

Method 5: Contact JAMB support for assistance

This seems like a farthing to do for an average Nigerian.

We are used to institutions not presenting a good support system but, there is no harm in trial.

Tip: When going to their office, please, make sure that you go with a valid ID card (e.g., NIN slip) and your JAMB registration information.

In their office, the more information you give them, the better and easier it is to get your email address.
